Two things happened this week that might (will) cause our friend on the other side of the world (Hi Nina!) a great deal of pain, if she still reads this blog. 1) I was shopping at Whole Foods earlier this week, and saw Passion Fruit on sale. “Hmm,” I think, “Passion fruit. How interesting.” 2) Reading through my many, many cookbooks, I saw a recipe from Chez Panisse Desserts for passion fruit ice-cream. Yes, I am planning to make passion fruit ice-cream. I can already hear the screams of “You BITCH!” from 10,000 miles away.
